This trial is seeking to confirm whether heat is helpful for speed and rate of germination, more details here. 14 days or so after sowing, there’s not a fat lot going on, except that the “hot” Zephyranthes have begun to germinate and have certainly cleared the hurdle of 5 germinations, let’s call it 14 days as I don’t know exactly when they got to that point.  Certainly for this variety the basal heat has speeded things up on the germination front.

Some DO like it hot…
