1 – Nasturtium. Normally I’ve got fed up with these and pulled them up by now. This year there’s not a fat lot growing behind them so they might as well stay, at least they’re green.

2 – Japanese anemone ‘Honorine Jobert’. These plants looked very poorly over the summer in the dry conditions, but have staged a recovery with the rain over the last few weeks.

3. Geranium leaf. I’m looking for colour wherever I can find it in the garden at the moment.

4. Aster ‘Little Carlow’. Despite me trying my damndest to accidentally kill these off, they are just hanging on. I hope they’ll consolidate over the winter and come back strong next year. I divided them into too small pieces and then didn’t water them over the summer. Thought they’d died, but no. Hooray, although they are 8 inches off the ground instead of their usual 4′, so I won’t celebrate too much. Perhaps a modest Tim Henman style fist pump.

5. Penstemon ‘don’t remember’. These have flowered once, back for more.

6. Campanula ‘Pink Octopus’. Another miraculous recovery, this plant was munched to soil lever by slugs, then got scorched and dried out over the summer, but has come back from the dead. I should plant it out so the slugs can have another bash.

That’s your lot. If you’d like to have a go just publish your post and pop a link to it in the comments below. If you also mention my blog in yours that would be triffic.

I’ll be back next weekend for another #SixOnSaturday.
