No Six from me this weekend, I am in Anglesey for a race, 135 miles round the coast of the island over three days. I drove up on Thursday and with all the packing etc I ran out of time to get a post written.

Day Two looks gruelling after Day One! I wouldn’t even be able to get out of bed! (Not that I could finish day one in a thousand years let alone 9 hours!) Anyway since you’re not even here you won’t notice that I have slipped an extra one in this week… 🤗

Lovely photos as always Jude. I was looking at a Caryopteris the other day wondering if I could fit one in somewhere. I have heavy clay and SnS and for this time of year find the sturdier Michaelmas Daisies are left uneaten – ‘St Michaels’, ‘Alma Potschke’ both do well as does Helianthus ‘Lemon Queen’. They’re all tall plants.
